Thanks so much for a all the extra work you put into developing this site for your students and parents. What at excellent method of reaching out to us! Mackenzie loves second grade and loves having you for a teacher! Can you give Mackenzie an example of an item that she can put in her Getting to Know You bag?
Thanks again for making the transition to second grade so easy for Mackenzie. We are excited about the new school year. :-)

Dear Mrs. Mason and Mackenzie,
Mackenzie should put things in the bag that she likes and that are important to her. If I were making a bag some things I would put in it are...a picture of my son, a baking magazine because I love to bake, a stuffed animal of a yorkie to represent my dogs, etc...
